Astro 6956 is a single-component, air-drying, phenolic-modified alkyd protective coating formulated to provide reliable thermal, electrical, mechanical, and chemical resistance. It is Beige in color and is formulated to meet the requirements of GE Specification A8B90A3.
This coating is intended for use as a topcoat in various industrial applications, including the stator and rotor of large industrial motors and turbine generators.
