High Temperature “Peanut Butter” Hardware Epoxy
Astro 6422 is a high-temperature, Class H (180°C) thixotropic version of our popular “peanut butter” paste adhesive, commonly used in large industrial motors and utility-scale generators. This epoxy serves as a filling and adhesive compound for electro-structural applications, ensuring secure placement of hardware. It’s ideal for locking bolts, wedges, and spacers, as well as filling gaps, cracks, and larger cross-sections that require a highly filled material.
Designed with ease of use in mind, this adhesive comes in a cartridge delivery system, eliminating the need for measuring and mixing. Its formulation is non-CMR (contains no carcinogens, mutagens, or reproductive hazards) and 0-VOC (contains no volatile organic compounds), making it a safe and user-friendly choice.
