Single-Part, Non-CMR Line of Industrial Protective Paints
Astro Chemical is unveiling a series of user-friendly protective coatings, available in three launch colors – Black (4801), Sky Blue (4802), and Dark Red (4803), with additional color options available. The 4800 series is a versatile, phenolic-modified alkyd system delivering thermal, dielectric, and corrosion resistance for high voltage industrial uses.
Formulated to be operator-friendly, the Astro 4800 series is non-carcinogenic, non-mutagenic, and non-toxic for reproduction. These coatings are single-part, with excellent multi-substrate adhesion, and can be applied by spraying, brushing or rolling.
Building on chemistries with a decades-long track record in high voltage applications, the Astro 4800 paints are non-restricted for shipping (non-haz), offering significant transportation flexibility and freight economies to our customers.
