6000
Astro 6000 is a two-part “Peanut Butter” epoxy putty that cures to a tough, resilient material with negligible shrinkage and very little exothermic heat.
This system is typically used as a filling compound or as a “hardware epoxy” for locking wedges and bolts on a large generator and motor stators.
Key Properties
- Long, proven track record of use in Class B (130oC) and Class F (155°C) environments
- Thick “Peanut Butter” rheology for use on vertical surfaces
- Excellent flexural and shear strength
